Responsibilities:
- Oversight of Construction activities to assure compliance with project plans & specifications.
- Prepare project documentation, observation reports, etc. during construction.
- Take initiative in issue resolution by seeking direction from Design Tree personnel and/or clients.
- Responsible for accurately completing tasks and projects in a timely manner based on project deadlines.
- Review designs for completeness, constructability and coordination.
- Monitor drawings to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Have a positive attitude, willingness to learn and be part of a team.
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects and teams concurrently.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of five years’ of Civil Engineering Construction experience.
- Familiarity and experience with AutoCAD, Xcel and Bluebeam are plusses.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of construction practices.
- Hard working, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Preferred experience for municipal street & utility project types
- Travel to sites for observation, gathering information and measurements related to construction.
- Willing to work overtime based on project and contractor schedules.
